This April 19th will remain in my memory as an extraordinary day full of meaning and profound encounters.
🖼️ This morning, I had the great honor of welcoming General Pierre Schill , Chief of Staff of the Army, accompanied by Generals Le Segretain du Patis and Jean Laurentin, to my studio-gallery . A rare and precious opportunity to present to them my artistic work, born from a military career and an inner search. Through my works, I explore this invisible but powerful link between discipline and creation, rigor and emotion . Two worlds that seem completely opposite... and yet are united by common values: commitment, transmission, resilience .
🌍 In the afternoon, I headed to Mouguerre in the heart of the Basque Country for a meeting organized by the "Fair Face and Resilience" association . A highlight dedicated to former soldiers who suffered physical and psychological injuries and were struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder . I addressed a gathering of former comrades in arms and dedicated speakers, all sharing the same goal: to rebuild together .
What I remember from that day is the human intensity of each exchange, the power of testimony, and the importance of making connections—through art, through listening, through presence.
🎨🪖 For me, April 19th embodied this deep conviction: art can be a bridge, a refuge, a force for healing. And the brotherhood in arms never dies.
To do good is to be good. To create is to transmit. To serve is to grow again.
